Rapid Deliveries

Rapid deliveries offer people convenience, a very much welcomed service in people’s busy lives. However there must be a balance, and convenience should not be at the expense of ease at which children can get hold of alcohol or other age restricted products, such as tobacco.

Our guidance offers best practice recommendations for businesses that offer rapid deliveries, to help them operate in a legally compliant and socially responsible way. Our guidance focusses on age checks at the point of delivery rather than the point of sale, recognising that the most important thing is that minors do not get hold of age restricted products.
